Badgers in Beantown and Vote for Chris (Supplement to weekly blog) Posted: 20 November 2009 | The Wisconsin women’s soccer team (10-5-6, 5-1-4 Big Ten) continues its incredible NCAA run when UW faces second-seeded and seventh-ranked Boston College in the Sweet Sixteen. The Badgers will take on BC in Chestnut Hill, Mass. today (riday, Nov. 20) at 7 p.m. ET. Both teams will play for a chance to advance to the quarterfinals to take on the winner of the Stanford vs. Santa Clara game. Chris Maragos is up for the Rudy Award and fan votes count towards the selection of a winner. Daniel ‘Rudy’ Ruettiger founded The College Football Rudy Awards to honor Division I football players who brought that ‘something extra’ to the team.
