The UW Alumni Club of Connecticut was founded in the late 1980s and in 1998, Franklin, Berkshire, Hampshire and Hampden counties in Western Massachusetts were incorporated into the club. Did you know that over 1800 UW alumni reside within Connecticut and Western Massachusetts? We'd love to get all of you involved in the club, whether through your active participation, your frequent visits to this website, or your financial support of our local scholarship efforts. Any way you want to participate, you will be supporting the great Badger spirit!
Our club's mission is to:
• encourage and support qualified local students to attend the University of Wisconsin at Madison;
• provide UW-Madison alumni, parents, and students in the area with a local connection to the university;
• foster fellowship and cooperation among alumni and friends of the UW;
• serve as a tool for local networking;
• provide leadership in the support of higher education; and
• socialize in the famous Badger tradition!

Scholarships
We try to meet these goals through an active scholarship fund for incoming UW freshmen from the CT/Western MA area, through annual Founders' Day dinners featuring great speakers from the University and through social and cultural events, such as gathering to watch UW football games at local sports bars.
